The reign of Medikal’s ‘Omo Ada’ at number one on the Adom FM Music Chart has come to an end.
The number four song in week 15 ‘Jama’ is number one. This DJ Mic Smith’s song featuring Patoranking and Shaker has been running up and down the charts since its first appearance on it.
The climb of this song to the number one spot proves how much Ghanaians love their morale ‘jama’ songs.
Senior high school students, university students, corporate people at outdoor events, everyone have their versions of jama.
Hence it is not surprising to see fans fall in love with DJ Mic’s song. Its popularity has kept it in the top five for a long time.
For six weeks, ‘Omo Ada’ has been number one and its constant play around the country made people love it the more.
But, the Medikal song has been dethroned and has taken over the second spot.
‘Kpo Keke’ by Stonebwoy gets to keep the number three spot. However, the regular play of the song across the country may push the song back to the number one spot.
