
Muhammadu Buhari has been sworn in for a next time period as president of Nigeria at a ceremony in the funds, Abuja.
The president took his oath of office in conventional dress – uncomplicated white robes and an embroidered hat.
“I do solemnly swear that I will be devoted and bear genuine allegiance to the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he mentioned.
“I will protect, secure and protect the constitution,” he included.
Mr Buhari’s to-do record features reviving a weak financial system and tackling rampant corruption and insecurity.
