The initial batch of the Black Stars squad has arrived at the team’s base in Abu Dhabi as they start the remaining phase of preparations for the 2019 African Cup of Nations match which will be held in Egypt from June 21-July 19.
A contingent led by the Performing GFA Typical Secretary Mr. Alex Asante which bundled some players and associates of the Complex crew arrived in Abu Dhabi on Sunday morning.
The rest of the squad are anticipated to get there in the team’s camp on Monday early morning as Mentor Kwesi Appiah and his aspect prepares for the Africa continent’s flagship soccer levels of competition.
The staff will be in UAE for a few months ahead of departing to Egypt for the event.
The senior countrywide crew will participate in two friendly matches in Dubai involving June 10-15 with South Africa as one of Ghana’s opponents in the Pre-match helpful matches.
Team Ghana is envisioned to arrive in Egypt for the event on June 20, 5 times prior to their opening Group F match against the Squirrels of Benin at the Ismailia Stadium.
The Black Stars will enjoy reigning African Champions Cameroon in their 2nd team match in Ismailia ahead of they face Guinea Bissau in the ultimate group match at the Suez Stadium.
Ghana is poised to conclude its 37-year African trophy drought and gain its 5th continental title at this year’s edition of the competition.
