Esperance have been requested to return the African Champions League trophy and to replay the next leg of the last.
The Tunisian aspect led in Saturday’s second leg but Moroccan opponents Wydad Casablanca remaining the pitch soon after an equaliser they scored was disallowed.
Wydad needed the online video assistant referee to test if the objective must stand but the process was not operating.
The Confederation of African Soccer (Caf) explained the 2nd leg will be replayed at a neutral venue.
The 1-1 draw from the 1st leg stands.
The replay will be soon after the Africa Cup of Nations, which finishes on 19 July.
Caf said Esperance gamers ought to return their winners’ medals as nicely as the trophy.
