Esperance have been ordered to return the African Champions League trophy and to replay the 2nd leg of the ultimate.
The Tunisian side led in Saturday’s 2nd leg but Moroccan opponents Wydad Casablanca left the pitch just after an equaliser they scored was disallowed.
Wydad preferred the online video assistant referee to examine if the goal must stand but the procedure was not doing the job.
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) reported the 2nd leg will be replayed at a neutral location.
The 1-1 draw from the initial leg stands.
The replay will be immediately after the Africa Cup of Nations, which finishes on 19 July.
Caf mentioned Esperance players need to return their winners’ medals as properly as the trophy.
