The Organising Committee of the annual Sheikh Sharubutu Ramadan Cup has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 15th.
The 5th version was initially set for June 8, at the Wembley Park, at Kotobabi, Accra, but organisers have now rescheduled it owing to the ban on noise-making as a end result of Homowo pageant.
Mr. Tamimu Issah, the Coordinator of the match, reported the postponement was because of to the ban and the regard they had for the Ga Group.
“The Ramadan Cup is a athletics competition, which also plays songs at the background by means of the level of competition, and we realised that our public address and seem program would violate the ban on sounds producing within our host neighborhood, so it is essential for us to respect the ban and reschedule it,” stated Mr. Issah.

The once-a-year opposition would witness 16 teams in Accra fight for the ultimate trophy.
