Head Mentor of Asante Kotoko, C.K Akonnor has reiterated that the goal is to qualify for upcoming season’s CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors will lock horns with arch rivals Hearts of Oak in the semi-final of Tier I unique opposition on Sunday.
The winner of the levels of competition will stand for Ghana in the Champions League, and coach Akonnor has set his sights on buying up the ticket.
“For us, our focus on is to go back again to Africa in the coming period,’ the former Ghana captain said. ” Fortunately, we nonetheless have a likelihood with the two tiers.
“However, the Champions League is what we have not accomplished well in when we participated, so we will want to return to that competition and establish our worth. We will struggle to claim that slot,” Akonnor added.
