The 2019 National Youth Chess Championships which took place at the DPS International University Auditorium, Tema, more than the weekend with over 90 players showcasing.
The gamers competed in 7 unique age categories Less than-10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and the new Underneath-8 and ladies-only categories.
This year’s event saw a new established of winners in all types, an indication of the aggressive nature of the sport and also gave home for improvement in each and every of these types.

Award displays were done by Mrs Tanya Thakwani, Initial Girl of Delhi Community University Global and Mr. David Raj together with Mr. Philip Ameku and Mrs. Christiana Ashley of the Ghana Chess Association (GCA).
The GCA thanked all families whose wards participated, DPS for internet hosting the function and also to the hairman of B5 Furthermore Ghana Confined Mr. Mukesh Thakwani who furnished unique awards to all the medalists.
