Rapper Medikal strongly believes that he was the lifeline to Ghanaian rap new music some 4 years ago.
According to him, he saved the country’s rap new music from dying and claims to continue to keep it so.
Basking in the glory of bagging two awards – ‘Rapper of the Year’ and ‘Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year’ – at the 20th anniversary of the Vodafone Ghana Audio Awards (VGMA) this calendar year, Medikal bragged that he is the saviour of rap songs.
“4 years in the past I saved Ghanaian Rap new music from dying and I assure to hold it alive,” he boasted on Instagram.
Medikal walked dwelling with no awards soon after bagging seven nominations at 2017 version of the Vodafone Ghana Audio Awards.
