Kumasi Asante Kotoko attacker Abdul Fatawu Safiu has exposed that he feels down for not building the Black Stars final squad for AFCON 2019 but he will continue on to operate tough.
Fatawu was component of the provisional 30-male squad who went to Dubai for training camp but was dropped last 7 days as the Kwesi Appiah settled on his remaining 23.
The Kotoko forward pointed out that he feels disheartened with the snub but is the mentor option and it should be highly regarded by all.
“I am disappointed of course as a player for not creating the Black Stars 23-male squad for the AFCON but it is the mentor conclusion and we should respect it. I assume I have to proceed functioning further tough, I will get a phone-up once more.” Fatawu instructed the Press on Sunday.
The nimble-footed attacker was on the rating sheet as Kumasi Asante Kotoko conquer Accra Hearts of Oak to ebook a position in the NC Distinctive Committee finals.
