The Confederation of Africa Soccer (CAF), has named 7 legends of Africa soccer, as the ambassadors for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2019 in Egypt, with no Ghanaian generating the cut.
The continent’s flagship match would kick off on June 21 and ends on July 19, 2019, in Egyptian towns of Cairo, Alexandria, Ismailia and Suez.
The 7 ambassadors are, Samuel Eto’o from Cameroon. The former Barcelona and Inter Milan gentleman received the CAF Participant of the 12 months Award on four instances and also won the AFCON twice in 2000 and 2002.
