The NDC is established to stage a demonstration on July 2 towards what the social gathering describes as “hardship and insecurity” in the state.
Sammy Gyamfi thinks the protest is a replication of Nana Addo’s individual demonstration he led in 1995 versus the Rawlings federal government.
Speaking on Adom TV’s Badwam clearly show, he stated the ruling New Patriotic Social gathering (NPP) has disappointed Ghanaians because assuming office.
“Nana Addo instituted ‘Kum yen Preko’ and we are heading to protest the exact way under the same oppression and hardships under which he led protesters in 1995 when former President Rawlings needed to apply the Worth Added Tax in Ghana,” he said.
The NDC Communications Director extra that the demonstration is inspired by the “unfulfilled” promises by the Akufo-Addo governing administration.
According to him, the NPP lied its way into electrical power, describing their promises as “419”.
“We experienced so significantly hope in the Akufo-Addo administration to transform Ghana right after they produced all people marketing campaign promises in 2016 but it appears to be all these promises have turn out to be 419,” Sammy Gyamfi added.
