Ghana mentor Kwasi Appiah has insisted the Black Stars will not underrate the squirrels of Benin when they confront-off in their African Cup of Nations opener on Tuesday.
Appiah opined that no staff will be underrated as the Black Stars carry on their chase for their to start with African Cup of country trophy in 37 a long time.
Talking to the media before Tuesday’s match from Benin, Kwasi Appiah insisted the Black Stars will not underrate any staff in the level of competition.
“Modern soccer has changed and there is no way you can underrate any staff and every single team is pushing”
“But I believe in my gamers, I have whole assurance in them and I know they will deliver”
“All the groups in our team are robust but the most significant thing is planning effectively to deal with them and that is what we have done”
Defending champions Cameroon will face Guinea-Bissau at the Ismailia Stadium in Group F opener before Ghana confront Benin at the same location afterwards in the working day.
