The executive council assembly of the Federation of African Engineering Organisations (FAEO) is currently underway in Tunis, Tunisia, on the sidelines of the Worldwide Convention on Engineering and Foods Security in Africa.
The conference is remaining held below the auspices of the Buy of Engineers Tunisia in collaboration with the Planet Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO) from June 24 to 26.
Notable Engineers these kinds of as Ing Carlien Bou Chedid President Elect FAEO, Ing. Leslie Alex Ayeh President GhIE, Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong Government Director West African Federation of Engineering Organisations (WAFEO) and Ing. Dr Kwame Boakye Earlier President of the Ghana Establishment of Engineers (GhIE) are present at the conference.
The delegation returns on Friday.
The convention will be concentrating notably on SDG 2 – Zero Starvation and SDG 12 – Sustainable Intake And Manufacturing.
The conference will spotlight the role of Engineers in ensuring food security and foods basic safety on the continent.
The conference will also present a platform for the trade of awareness, progressive concepts, experiences examine case research of engineers, researchers and coverage makers and civil society organisations functioning in this discipline.
The conference is also envisioned to conclude with a Declaration on “Foods Stability as seen by Engineers”.
