Former President John Dramani Mahama claims the Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC) has usually sent on its claims, in contrast to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mahama designed the assertion even though providing a speech at the NDC’s  27th Anniversary lecture.

He said the NDC “are not the identical as the NPP,” incorporating that “we have normally stood by the truth.”

“We are not the exact as the NPP. We have always stood by the truth of the matter. We have not informed bogus promises just mainly because we want political energy,” Mahama explained.

“We convey to the persons specifically what we can do for them and when we come into office environment, we make our greatest hard work to supply particularly what we explained we can do for them.”

The NDC flagbearer mentioned quite a few Ghanaians are unhappy in the NPP, incorporating that the Akufo-Addo federal government has “elevated fake promises to a historic amount.”

“It was in 2016 that NPP elevated phony claims to a historic amount. It was just like just about anything the people today want to listen to for the reason that we want political power but you fail to remember that when you have finished that and you appear into ability, the fact will capture up with you.

“Today, a substantial group of people today are unhappy with the NPP,” the ex-President extra.

Mahama also hit out at government more than what he explained as shoddy initiatives under the one village, a single dam policy.

He mentioned most of the jobs are not even competent to be referred to as dams, due to the fact they search much more like dugouts.

“Today, 1 Village 1 Dam has turn into 1 Village 1 Pond simply because prior to the [2016 general] election I requested that are you [NPP] digging dugout or dams for irrigation functions.

“They refused to respond to and the fact has caught up. These are dug outs. In some conditions, they do not even qualify as dugouts.”
