US gov’t to support develop Ghana’s IT, protection capacities

The United States Embassy in Ghana has been commemorating the Apollo 11, 50 several years immediately after its spaceflight landed the initial two folks on the Moon.

“When we talk about helping Ghana in her journey to self-reliance, we do not concentrate on the problems, but we visualize the alternatives. The US enthusiastically supports Ghana’s promotion of STEM schooling,” US Ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie S. Sullivan stated. 

The Inside Minister, Ambrose Dery explained he is very pleased that of the good heights being realized int he field of engineering by some Ghanaians. 

“We have a Ghanaians engineer, Dr Ashitey Trebi Olenu who proven the Ghana Robotics Foundation Association and also led a workforce in building spacecraft at NASA’s Jet Proportion laboratory. 

“The time is coming when we will not only have a Ghanaian coming up with or programming spacecraft but also a Ghanaians who will go up in house and land on the moon,” he stated. 

As NASA advances with its area existence and hottest landing on Mars in 2018, Dr Olenu suggests he hopes lots of much more youthful Ghanaians will aspire to be like or additional than him.
