Ghana mentor Kwesi Appiah has confirmed Christian Atsu will take no element in the Black Stars final team video game against Guinea-Bissau at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Atsu has been ruled out of the significant clash due to personal injury.
The Newcastle United winger picked up the personal injury in the Black Stars goalless stalemate against Cameroon on Saturday.
Defender Jonathan Mensah also sustained a knock in the matc.
“A scan was carried out on the two players – Atsu and Jonathan Mensah – right after the game with Cameroon. Atsu’s personal injury appears to be like a bit serious and he will not be completely ready for the recreation but Jonathan will teach this afternoon for us to acquire a ultimate conclusion,” Kwesi Appiah said in advance of the Guinea-Bissau recreation.
The Black Stars harm problem is on the rise as Thomas Agyepong will not be available for selection after injuring himself in the initially sport towards Benin.
Also out of the match is defender Kassim Nuhu, who is suspended.
Black Stars should beat Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday to stay away from an embarrassing early exit from the levels of competition.
