Vodafone Ghana has picked 5 prestigious awards at the ninth edition of the Ghana Data Engineering and Telecoms Awards (GITTA) held on Friday, in Accra.
The telco picked Telecom Company Company of the Calendar year award for the second consecutive yr, and Telecom Wholesale Provider of the Year. Vodafone’s socially impactful digital initiatives which includes the National Coding Programme, which are considerably contributing to digitalising Ghana, gained it the Corporate Social Duty (CSR) Enterprise of the 12 months.
Two senior executives at Vodafone have been also recognized for their enormous contributions to the advancement of the field. Vodafone’s Technological know-how Director, Srabasti Bhattarjee won Main Technological know-how Officer (CTO) of the Calendar year for, amongst other factors, top the telco’s 4G deployment.
Angela Mensah-Poku, former Director of Vodafone Business, also acquired exclusive recognition for her superb contribution to the company sector.
