Kim Kardashian West is to adjust the brand name identify for her most current vogue line pursuing accusations of cultural appropriation.
Some Japanese people today on social media complained that the trademarked brand, Kimono Intimates – a participate in on her name – disrespected traditional apparel.
Kardashian West initially defended the name in The New York Times last 7 days, stating she would not adjust it.
But on Tuesday, she reported she would be announcing a new identify in thanks training course.
The reality clearly show star-turned-designer posted on Instagram: “I am normally listening, mastering and developing… When I introduced the title of my shapewear line, I did so with the greatest intentions in mind.”
She extra: “Right after watchful imagined and consideration, I will be launching my Solutionwear brand name beneath a new name.”
The kimono, a free prolonged-sleeved Japanese gown, dates back again to the 16th Century.
