A Covid-19 National Belief Fund is remaining introduced to seek out donations from business and specific to support the countrywide battle in opposition to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Previously in the day, President Nana Akufo-Addo inaugurated the Board of Trustees of the Fund, at a temporary ceremony at Jubilee Dwelling.
The Board of Trustees, which is chaired by former Main Justice, Sophia Akuffo, will obtain contributions and donations from the public to assist in the welfare of the needy and the vulnerable.
The other associates of the Board are Archbishop Justice Ofei Akrofi, Jude Kofi Bucknor, Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie, Elsie Addo-Awadzie, Dr Ernest Ofori-Sarpong, Dr Tanko, with Collins Asare as its Secretary.
