The Ghana Healthcare Association has expressed stress about the lack of Individual Protecting Tools (PPEs) for frontline staff, as they combat the distribute of the infectious coronavirus.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Newsnite on Thursday, the Association’s Deputy General Secretary, Dr Titus Beyuo, explained it is disappointing to know that the wellness employees jeopardizing their life to save humanity have been still left on their personal.
This will come right after the Korle-Bu Educating Healthcare facility on Thursday, issued a statement that the Emergency Unit of the facility will be closed down for fumigation.
In accordance to the statement, some staff of the Medical center were uncovered to a suspected coronavirus affected individual and are, thus, in self-quarantine.
Commenting on this, Dr Beyuo described it as a distressful circumstance which will have to not be the fret of only wellness workers but the country as a whole.
