Bulk caucus donates GH¢100,000 to guidance Covid-19 Fund

Bulk Chief, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, designed the announcement on the ground of the House satruday, April 4, soon prior to the Speaker suspended sitting indefinitely.

“Mr. Speaker, permit me announce that Greater part has decided to contribute GH¢100,000 to complement the initiatives of the government to fighting this…disruptive menace,” the Greater part Leader said.

Earlier this week, appointees of the President, Nana Akufo-Addo, pledged 50% of their every month profits for the next a few months, in the direction of the COVID-19 Rely on Fund.

These appointees consist of all Ministers of Condition, the Chief of Staff members at the Office environment of the President, the deputy Chiefs of Staff, Secretary to the President, Secretary to the Cupboard, Presidential Staffers and Presidential Aides at the Presidency.

All Deputy Ministers have also agreed to donate 50 per cent of their salaries for the next two months, i.e. April and Could, into the Fund.

The president himself, declared his salary for the next 3 months would be utilized as seed fund for the Trust Fund which has been proven by governing administration for the fight in opposition to the virus and to aid in the welfare of the needy and the vulnerable.

His Vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia followed go well with by pledging his 3 month’s salary starting April, to the fFund.

Mr. Kyei Mensah Bonsu recommended people today and organisations who have adopted the instance of the president to contribute to the Fund and known as on some others who are nonetheless to so to emulate.
