The Kibi Goldfields Limited (KGL) has donated sanitary items to the Abuakwa South Municipal Assembly to aid its marketing campaign in opposition to coronavirus in the area.
The products include things like a variety of Veronica Buckets, rubber bowls, items of hand washing liquid soaps as effectively as packs of tissues.
Presenting the products at the forecourt of the Assembly on March 31, 2020, the Community Relations Officer of the KGL, Barima Opoku of KGL, claimed the business was delighted to support and lead its quota to contain the spread of the deadly COVID-19.
Acquiring the objects on behalf of the Assembly, the Municipal Chief Government, Kojo Ofori-Safo, expressed gratitude to the KGL and indicated that the objects would aid minimise the surge of the coronavirus in the space.
He commended the KGL, specially, the Handling Director, Kofi Agyemang, for the continuous guidance towards the Assembly’s developmental activities.
Ghana has recorded 214 instances of the coronavirus which has brought on the loss of life of five other folks though at minimum 31 persons are explained to have recovered.
