Kumasi Asante Kotoko has claimed it will announce associates of its Board of Administrators following the two-week lockdown to prevent the unfold of the coronavirus.
Kotoko was because of to post the listing of its recently constituted board customers to the Ghana Soccer Affiliation (GFA) on April 3, 2020, but failed to do so.
A letter signed by Mr. Kofi Badu, Chief of Employees of Manhyia Palace addressed to the GFA claims, “I am directed to notify you that His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, in his ability as the sole shareholder of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, is in the procedure of appointing a new Board of Administrators for the club.
“However, the procedure has been interrupted by the imposition of the Countrywide Coronavirus unexpected emergency as a result of which the secretariat of the Palace has been shut for two weeks.
“I am to tell you that as the crisis permits the resumption of work, the system will be concluded and the names of the new board would be submitted to you without having delay.”
