Coronavirus: Eastern Region GJA distributes Ghana-manufactured experience masks to journalists


The Ghana Journalists Affiliation (GJA) in the Jap Region has dispersed 50 pieces of regionally manufactured deal with masks to some media staff and media residences in the area.

The domestically made nose mask was provided by a deputy Regional Lands Commission Surveyor, Nana Domena Antwi-Berko, and his pals.

The beneficiary media houses in the location consist of GNA, GBC, Everyday Graphic, Ghanaian Situations, UTV, Television set3, Citi Information,  Japanese Fm, Myn Fm, Nkumim Fm in Asamankese, Obuoba and Agoo Fm  in Nkawkaw, Day-to-day Information, Every day Statesman, Now Newspaper, Course media Team between other people.

At a limited ceremony to acquire and distribute the mask, Chairman of the GJA- Eastern Location, Maxwell Kudekor, hinted that the association is operating challenging to secure the next batch of nose masks and other protecting wears for media practitioners leading the protection and security marketing campaign on Covid- 19 in Ghana.

“We believe that Journalists are element of the frontline staff in the Covid- 19 management and protection campaign therefore they will need the requisite aid and PPEs to do the job,”  Kudekor stressed.

Mr Kudekor expressed gratitude to  Nana Domena Antwi-Berko for the gesture.
