President Nana Akufo-Addo has prolonged the limits on actions in Accra and Kumasi by 1 additional week from Monday, April 13, 2020.
Providing his sixth deal with on the progress of the national campaign to defeat the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana, the President explained on Thursday that whilst the endeavours have been effective, the state was not however out of the woods.
Two months back, a 14-day restriction on movements in sections of the Greater Accra Area and Kumasi, in the Ashanti Area, was applied to management the distribute of the coronavirus.
The lockdown has been implemented in parts of the region where sizeable figures of virus infections have been recorded.
