Employed clothes sellers donate GH¢300k to Covid-19 Fund

The Ghana Used Apparel Sellers Association on Thursday, presented a cheque for GH¢ 300,000 to the Covid-19 Nationwide Have confidence in Fund.

Chairman of the Association, Boakye Yiadom and government users introduced the cheque to the Chief of Workers, Akosua Frema Osei Opare, at the Jubilee House.

The Covid-19 Nationwide Trust Fund has been established up by the government to aid the needy and vulnerable, as the nation battles the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Addressing the press, Boakye Yiadom was self-confident their contribution to the Covid-19 Countrywide Have confidence in Fund will go a very long way to assist the government’s fight against the viral infection.

Boakye Yiadom commended the President, Nana Akufo-Addo, for the way in which his authorities has handled the Covid-19 disaster consequently significantly.

In the meantime, the Basic Secretary of the Affiliation, Asante Boateng Kwaning, has cautioned people within spots influenced by the lockdown to adhere to the directives by the government to have the distribute of the virus.
