President Nana Akufo-Addo has prolonged the limitations on actions in Accra and Kumasi by 1 extra week from Monday, April 13, 2020.
Delivering his sixth address on the progress of the countrywide campaign to defeat the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana, the President said on Thursday that even though the endeavours have been successful, the country was not yet out of the woods.
Two months back, a 14-day restriction on movements in components of the Increased Accra Region and Kumasi, in the Ashanti Location, was applied to manage the unfold of the coronavirus.
The lockdown has been carried out in sections of the country in which significant quantities of virus bacterial infections have been recorded.
The President said in the televised deal with on Thursday that the 14-working day lockdown, although severe, has been significant in beating down Ghana’s coronavirus situation depend.
