Asante Berko saga: Muntaka rebuffs bribery statements, backs phone calls for probe

Mohammed-Mubarak Muntaka has rebuffed claims MPs took bribes to approve a power-related arrangement in 2015.

The Minority Main Whip in an interview with JoyNews stated, as a member of the Power Committee of the Residence in 2015, “not a dime arrived to anybody.”

He recounted that the alleged payer of the stated bribes, speedy earlier Tema Oil Refinery manager, Asante Berko, has even denied the impropriety.
