Betonsa Ghana Limited, a premix concrete manufacturing corporation, has introduced a cheque for GH¢100, 000 to the Countrywide Covid -19 Trust Fund to assist the combat against the pandemic in the region.
The donation is in line with the national get in touch with for private sector help to mobilise resources to struggle the pandemic.
The Turkish business located in Adenta in Accra, suggests the donation is to allow the government to help persons in Adenta and its environs.
Presenting the cheque at the Flagstaff Residence on Wednesday, Finance Manager of Betonsa Ghana Limited, Kennedy Amoako, explained the aim of the donation is to enable the government to sufficiently fight the spread of the virus in communities.
He explained although the pandemic has adversely impacted corporations, the administration of Betonsa believes that there is the will need for firms to advance support for neighborhood defense towards the pandemic.
“With our tiny donation, we are optimistic that the govt can be in a position to assist people today in places these kinds of as the Adenta local community where by we work,” he pressured.
