The Techiman North District Assembly of the Bono East Area, has supported victims of a current rainstorm that rendered hundreds homeless in Aworowa, a group inside of the District.
The rainstorm which terribly strike communities like Akrofrom and its environs, ripped off the roofs of several homes. Attributes worth hundreds of Ghana Cedis had been also dropped following the storm.

Responding to the plight of the affected communities, the Techiman North District Assembly led by the District Chief Govt, Peter Mensah introduced relief things which includes 50 luggage of cement and 10 packets of roofing sheets to the Aworowa classic council for onward distribution to the afflicted households.

Mr Mensah managed that it has usually been aspect of the Assembly to fortify the functions of National Disaster Administration Organisation (NADMO), to properly mobilise methods and coordinate disaster in the District.
He appealed to the people to work on strengthening their buildings in order to survive any unexpected disasters as we zoom into the rainy year.
He also appealed to the classic authorities to help the assembly’s quest of applying the Akumfi Ameyaw SHS as one particular of five isolation facilities in just the District as portion of it is preparations in direction of combating the Covid-19 pandemic.
