The Foods and Medicines Authority (Fda) has introduced a checklist of hand sanitiser brands it has authorised for general public use.
The checklist has about 327 models of hand sanitisers all with the suggested 70% alcohol content or more.
This arrives immediately after some people experienced taken to the sector to market phony hand sanitisers or sold hand creams disguised as hand sanitisers.
On April 7, a director of the Nationwide Fee for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti region, was arrested for allegedly making and providing faux hand sanitisers.
