Squatters at Previous Fadama, a slum group in Accra, have been compelled to snooze in the open right after their makeshift houses have been demolished by Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) on Wednesday.

Pics of the squatters sleeping rough elevate inquiries by a claim by metropolis authorities that short term homes would be provided for the affected squatters.

Above 1,000 slum-dwellers at the Old Fadama in Accra, had been rendered homeless, after the AMA demolished picket structures that served as their properties to pave way for the dredging of the Korle Lagoon.
