The Affiliation of Ghana Industries (AGI) has donated cash of ¢150,000 and goods well worth ¢350,000 which involve Particular Protecting Tools (PPEs), drinks, provisions, drinking water and oxygen.
The AGI claims the move was in reaction to President Dankwa Akufo Addo’s phone for help in the fight against the distribute of the Covid-19 in Ghana.
The presentation was done at the press briefing on the update of COVID-19 by the Ministry of Facts.
At the presentation, the President of the Affiliation, Dr Yaw Adu Gyamfi, commended Govt for concentrating efforts on made up of the pandemic and performing challenging to cut down the price of spread of the virus in the state.

Ghana Timber Millers Organisation, GOIL, Merricom Options, M&G Pharmaceuticals, Modern Clothes, FC Perfumery Polytank, IPMC, Sid Cosmetics, Crocodile Matchets, OsAfric Ltd., Lion Aluminium, Kane-Em Industries and Metalex Ltd also donated.
Other donors include Fay Intercontinental Minimal, Worchar Agrow Processing Limited, DT Engineering, Debbies Restricted, Voltic, Lexta Co., Qualiplast, Gandour Cosmetics, M & G Pharmaceuticas, Pharmacare and Nobel Industries, Accra Brewery.
He said the AGI was thinking about one more round of mobilisation and urge customers to continue on earning their contributions to AGI and be element of the following presentation.
“We also commend all Ghanaian health workers, protection and other front line folks placing their life on the line to save other people,” the AGI claimed.
