A motor rider was shot and wounded by a soldier immediately after he run a protection blockade at Dobro around Nsawam and attempted to velocity away.
The rider was later discovered as Isaac Odei, a 36-calendar year-aged mower operator of Gjankrom a suburb of Nsawam.
The bullet hit his again and leg and he was rushed to the Nsawam Clinic and later on referred to the 37 Army Healthcare facility for more treatment.
Briefing the Ghana Information Company, Law enforcement Superintendent Marian Osei-Adu Owusu, Commander of Nsawam District claimed, Odei did not be part of the queue of automobiles at the barrier but sped into the stability staff manning the barrier.
Supt Owusu mentioned, just one of the military services staff at the barrier aimed at the tyre of the motor to avert him from speeding off but the bullet hit Odei.
Supt Owusu reported the police has seized the motorbike of Odei while the navy staff involved in the capturing incident had been withdrawn to Accra.
She appealed to motorists, primarily motor riders to cooperate with the protection personnel at the limitations to assistance fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
