Some 20 Burkinabés have been arrested at Balibe Inland Put up in the Lawra District of the Higher West Area.
The ECOWAS nationals had been caught by Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) officials as “they entered into Ghana by unapproved routes.”
The Burkinabés, ranging ages 15 to 28, were being nabbed on board an O.A bus with registration amount GR 6499, the GIS stated in a release.
“They have been en route to Sampa, Techiman and Kumasi respectively. Their migration into Ghana is an economic connected challenge,” Immigration officers reported.
