An Accra Circuit Court has acquitted and discharged Samuel Plange, aka Tuga, unemployed, and Issah Alhassan, a butcher, immediately after their counsel experienced submitted a submission of no case in a robbery case.
The two have been accused of robbing three occupants of a home in Akporman in the Bigger Accra Location.
The court, presided around by Mrs Afia Owusua Appiah, held that the prosecution woefully failed to prove the costs levelled from the accused persons.
It reported the prosecution failed to demonstrate a prema facie circumstance towards the accused people and the complainants failed to transform up in court docket to testify mainly because they experienced left the jurisdiction.
The court, even so, cautioned Alhassan to amend his strategies if he was in a way hooked up to the functions of theft.

Defence Counsel, Mr Andy Vortia, filed a submission of no situation for the two accused persons after the prosecution had shut its case and they have been expected to open their defence.
Counsel contended that the Prosecution could not link the accused folks to the said robbery, which took location on December 12, 2018.
Prosecuting, Chief Inspector William K. Boateng, mentioned the complainants were being Omoregie Paul, the very first complainant, Dare Ibitolu 2nd complainant, both equally unemployed, and Mathew Idowu, a student and the third complainant.
He said Plange resided at Abokobi-Boi and Alhassan at Akporman. On December 12, 2018, prosecution stated at about 2300 several hours, the complainants were being in their sitting area when the accused persons with three other accomplices, just one of whom is identified as Mike House, now at substantial, entered their place.
Each of the accused folks, armed with machetes and wearing masks, then purchased the complainants to lie down.
The prosecution said Ibitolu, the second complainant, resisted and the accused individuals beat him up.
He stated the accused people and their accomplices robbed Paul, the initial complainant, of his Dell Notebook Laptop, HP Laptop computer Pc, a Nokia Cellphone two, 32 inched NASCO Tv sets, a single GOTV Decoder, one particular PS Laptop or computer sport, and 3 pairs of jeans between other factors.
Chief Inspector Boateng stated they also robbed Ibitulo of two desktops, an I-Cellular phone and a One Techno Mobile phone.
He reported the accused folks parked all their booties in two travelling luggage soon after they locked the complainants in a bathroom and remaining them to their fate.
Prosecution stated the complainants nevertheless managed to get out of the toilet and documented the incident to the Police.
In the course of the theft, Ibitulo acknowledged the voice and stature of Alhassan as a butcher at Abokobi.
The investigations confirmed that some of the stolen objects were being located in Plange and Mike Property’s place.
On December 23, 2018, Plange was arrested but Mike Property managed to escape.
When Property’s room was also searched Mathew Idowu, the 3rd complainant’s objects ended up also discovered.
Plange mentioned that it was Alhassan who marketed some of the items to him.
On June 21, 2019, prosecution said Alhassan was picked up by the Police but he denied the offence indicating he never sold everything to anyone.
