Opt for patriotism above partisanship in Covid-19 combat – Main Imam urges Ghanaians

The National Chief Imam, Sheik Dr Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, has advised Ghanaians to decide for patriotism rather of partisanship in the combat in opposition to Covid-19.

Speaking to Adom Information, the revered Islamic cleric urged citizens, to undertake an frame of mind that will foster victory over the pandemic in Ghana.

In this era of patriotism around partisanship, regardless of what we are carrying out should constitute another possibility for all of us to reaffirm our determination with the consolidation of constitutional governance that will also guide to patriotism and nationwide development, he explained in Arabic.

He created the charm when the United Progressive Celebration (UPP) introduced some food goods to the Main Imam and his entourage to assist the Ramadan interval.

He claimed he is optimistic that, with prayers, Ghana, will prevail over Covid-19.

The Chief Imam more reiterated that “in the conclusion, our memory will not be described by the irritation of coronavirus, but the victory of coronavirus” as interpreted from Arabic.

Products presented by the UPP consist of rice, containers of Milo, milk, bread, h2o, smooth drinks, among the some others.

Chairman of the occasion, Kenneth Nana Kwame Asamoah, spelled out that it would be in the country’s fascination for each to prevent partisanship and arrive collectively to conquer the pandemic.

He urged all political events to appear with each other to defeat the virus just before resuming to their normal political company.

He also reported UPP was ready and completely ready to assist the govt to battle the virus.
