Pope Francis has appointed a new Nuncio, or papal ambassador to Ghana.

The announcement of H.E Monsignor Henryk Mieczyslaw Jagodzinski as the new Apostolic Nuncio, was built on Sunday at the Ghana Catholic Secretariat.

An Apostolic Nuncio is an ecclesiastical diplomat, serving as an envoy or a lasting diplomatic agent of the Holy See to a condition or to an global organisation.

The new Ambassador of the Holy See to Ghana requires about from H.E Archbishop Jean Marie Speich.

H.E Monsignor Jagodzinski, who is also Titular Archbishop-elect of Limosano, therefore, results in being the ninth Nuncio to Ghana.
