Bolgatanga dependent rap artiste, Soorebia, has been adjudged the “Next Rated Act” classification at the 3Music Awards held on Saturday evening at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Truthful, La in Accra.
The rapper was competing with nine other new artistes from nine locations in Ghana for the award.
Soorebia is at first from the Upper East Region who has been battling for a breakthrough.
He raps mostly in the Gurune dialect spoken by the Frafra folks in and all-around Bolgatanga.
He has recorded tunes with other Artistes like Akan, Wanluv Da Kubolo and Tamale-dependent artiste, Maccasio.
Soorebia believes profitable the “Next Rated Act” group at the 3Audio Awards may possibly just be the system that ultimately allows him realize his goals.
“This award means a whole lot to me and my group who have sacrificed so a lot to aid me get here. Now, I want Ghanaians to embrace and guidance my tunes. It is not just for me, but for the persons of the Higher East Area.”
“We have embraced Tinny with his Ga rap, Edem with his Ewe rap and so on. Now it is time for us to embrace Soorebia and Frafra rap,” Soorebia told MyJoyOnline.
