The Financial institution of Ghana (Bog) has founded a new FinTech and Innovation Workplace to drive the Bank’s money-lite, e-payments, and digitisation agenda.
The emergence of FinTech alternatives has released significant complexities that call for the sector supervisor’s aim, to realize and supervise efficiently.
In a assertion on Tuesday, the Lavatory explained “The new FinTech and Innovation Business will be responsible for licensing and oversight of committed digital dollars issuers (cell funds operators), payment services vendors (PSPs), shut loop payment products, payment help options and other emerging varieties of payment shipped by non-financial institution entities.”
The business office will also create insurance policies to endorse FinTech, innovation and interoperability in Ghana.
