Two diesel tankers due to discharge gasoline at a station at Apremdo in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis have been gutted by fire.
The two vehicles were being parked behind the Apremdo Overall filling station awaiting an order from a pump manager to get started the discharge when the incident occurred, JoyNews’ Ina-Thalia Quansah reviews.
Officers from the Ghana Nationwide Fireplace Support have managed to bring the scenario under regulate but struggled in the starting mainly because their tenders run out of drinking water.
They had to wait for some a although prior to a backup tanker arrived to help douse the flames.
No casualties have been recorded however but around a dozen outlets near to the filling station have been ruined.
The trigger of the fireplace has also not been unveiled.
