Governing administration presents PPEs to the Media


President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, by way of the Ministries of Data and Well being has donated Private Protecting Machines (PPEs) to assist the media in the battle towards COVID-19 in the country.

The donation included 5000 items of locally created deal with masks and 5000 items of hand gloves.

The donation was in fulfilment of component of a request produced the leadership of media bodies to the President to aid frontline media staff with PPEs when he engaged them as element of the Covid-19 response programme.

The media bodies engaged had been Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), the Countrywide Media Commission (NMC), Ghana Impartial Broadcasters Affiliation (GIBA), the Private Newspapers Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG).

Presenting the things, to the management of the media, the Deputy Minister for Facts, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei praised the media for its immense contributions specifically in the battle in opposition to COVID-19 and their frequent training on preventive protocols.
