Chinese ambassador to Israel is uncovered dead in his residence

The Chinese ambassador to Israel, Du Wei, was uncovered dead Sunday morning within his official residence north of Tel Aviv.

A spokesperson for Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs verified the information to CNN. The residence is in Herzliya.

Police are at the scene, but have not issued any formal assertion. Du Wei assumed his job as ambassador to Israel in February this yr.
