Chief Government Officer of Engineers & Planners Ltd, Ibrahim Mahama has donated food items products to visually impaired staff who have long gone on retirement.
The items integrated 100 luggage of rice, 720 bottles of cooking oil, 720 cans of mackerel and 720 cans of tomato paste.
This is to supports the visually impaired who have been afflicted by the novel coronavirus pandemic for the reason that of their incapacity to move all around in the regime of social distance and other restrictions imposed by the govt.
The donation was performed on behalf of Mr. Mahama by his aide Rafik Mahama.
Rapid earlier president of the Ghana Federation of Incapacity Organisations (GFDO), Yaw Ofori Debrah while receiving the items thanked the business magnate for his ongoing support to the visually impaired society.
He recounted how Mr. Mahama arrived to their help in 2019 when he donated GH¢22,000 to assist the welfare of the visually impaired pensioners. He reported the pandemic has afflicted the movement of their users and the donation by Mr. Ibrahim Mahama will enable drastically in assuaging the plight of it associates.
Ibrahim Mahama also built a 2nd donation to St. James Catholic Church-Osu. He donated 50 baggage of rice, 360 cans of Mackerel, 360 cans of tomato paste and 360 bottles of cooking oil. This is to aid the group by way of the church.
The food goods will be distributed to the individuals’ properties by the church. This is done to avoid people today crowding at just one location in buy to obtain foodstuff goods.
