Sports Ministry has no plan on stadia servicing and misapplied GH¢180K



An audit report on the pursuits of the National Sports Authority (NSA) and the Ministry Youth and Sports (MoYs), by the Auditor Normal sighted by Pleasure Athletics has unveiled that the NSA misapplied monies meant for the correcting of seats at the Baba Yara stadium.

The report which was produced accessible on December 30, 2019 say, NSA misapplied GH¢180,494 of GH¢203,688 meant to fix damaged seats at the Baba Yara stadium when the Ghana Education Support(GES) applied the facility for their inter-university athletics competitiveness.

The Sports umbrella body billed the GES, Kumasi an volume of GH¢203,688 to substitute broken seats at the stadium for the duration of the inter-college or university sports competitors.
