The Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly on Wednesday unsuccessful to affirm Benjamin Kessie as the Municipal Main Govt (MCE).

Mr Kessie was nominated by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to exchange Mr Gilbert Kennedy Asmah, the previous MCE whose appointment was revoked but he could not secure the two-thirds bulk votes essential of him to turn into a victor, right after the very first spherical of voting, held at the College of Mines and Engineering (UMaT) auditorium at Tarkwa.
