Mayor lies in a coffin and pretends to be a coronavirus sufferer to keep away from arrest

Jaime Rolando Urbina Torres, mayor of a little city in Peru, jumped into an open casket and pretended to be dead when law enforcement arrived to arrest him for breaking curfew.

The mayor of a smaller town in Peru tried to play dead after being caught by police violating coronavirus lockdown regulations even though ingesting with friends. 

Jaime Rolando Urbina Torres was pictured lying in an open up casket wearing a confront mask by officers who arrived to arrest him on Monday night time in the city of Tantará, in the south of the state.

Police say he violated curfew and social distancing legislation in buy to drink liquor with his buddies, and was drunk when he was arrested.

It is not crystal clear just in which he and his mates were being ingesting, or why there were open up caskets shut at hand. 

Torres has formerly been accused by locals of failing to acquire the threat of the virus seriously and failing to apply basic safety safety measures in the city.
