Former Rector of the Ghana College of Doctors and Surgeons, Professor Jacob Plange-Rhule has been laid to rest.
The renowned Physician was buried at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens soon after a private funeral company on Saturday.
The 62-calendar year-aged died at the University of Ghana Health-related Centre last month where he was obtaining procedure for an undisclosed ailment.
Prof Plange-Rhule was born on July 27, 1957, in Winneba, Central Location, and experienced his secondary education and learning at the Accra Academy in advance of entering the Kwame Nkrumah College of Science and Technologies.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Medication, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) from the School of Health care Sciences at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Know-how in 1984.
Prof Plange-Rhule then concluded a doctorate in renal physiology from the former Victoria College of Manchester (now identified as the College of Manchester).
In addition to serving as Rector of the Ghana College of Medical professionals and Surgeons from 2015 to 2020, Plange-Rhule was the previous President of both equally the Ghana Health care Affiliation (GMA) from 2001 to 2003 and the Ghana Kidney Association from 2014 t 2017.
