The landlord who shot and killed his tenant at Ofankor in the Higher Accra Location in excess of lease difficulties has said he did so in self-defence.
The Law enforcement are presently investigating why Victor Steve Nana Kankam allegedly shot and killed Benjamin Okyere above for allegedly refusing to shift out of a 2 bed room condominium next the expiration of his hire.
But the suspect explained to JOYNEWS the act was in self-defence.
“Although I am not supposed to talk to you without the need of legal illustration, all I can say is that I shot him [tenant] in self-defence,” he claimed.
The deceased, 31, is popularly identified as Trillionaire is a budding musician identified for his album Pon Dem.
But sister and father of Benjamin Okyere are demanding swift motion revealing they saw signals of the action.

Steve Nana Kamkam has been remanded in police custody and he will be examined for coronavirus. He will reappear in court on June 8.
